Thursday, September 6: Welcome Reception at the National Constitution Center
The Constitution Center brings the United States Constitution to life by hosting interactive exhibits and constitutional conversations and inspires active citizenship by celebrating the American constitutional tradition. The reception is included with registration to the conference. Guest tickets may be purchased.
Saturday, September 8: Gala Dinner at the Philadelphia Museum of Art
Like Philadelphia’s own Parthenon, the Philadelphia Museum of Art sits majestically on a rise at the end of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The vast collections of this temple of art make it the third-largest art museum in the country, and an absolute must-see on the city’s cultural circuit. The reception is included with registration to the conference. Guest tickets may be purchased.

Bill Duggan, senior lecturer in business management at Columbia University, will deliver a keynote address on innovation in business. Dr. Duggan is the author of three recent books on innovation and a professor at the Columbia Business School in New York. He has BA, MA and PhD degrees from Columbia University, and twenty years of experience as a strategy advisor and consultant.
Nelly Akoth, Chief Credit Officer at IBM, will deliver a keynote address on the need for deep analytical skills in both industry and academia. Ms. Akoth has twenty years of experience with IBM in the United States, Singapore, South Africa and Kenya. She holds a BA in Computer Science from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL, and an MBA with a Finance Concentration from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
