Senior Lecturer in Business Management
William Duggan is the author of three books on innovation and a professor at the Columbia Business School in New York. His books include Creative Strategy: A Guide for Innovation, The Seventh Sense: How Flashes of Insight Change Your Life, and Strategic Intuition: The Creative Spark in Human Achievement, which was named “Best Strategy Book of the Year” by the journal Strategy+Business in 2007. He has BA, MA and PhD degrees from Columbia University, and twenty years of experience as a strategy advisor and consultant. Dr. Duggan teaches innovation in the MBA, Executive MBA, and Executive Education programs at Columbia Business School. In 2014, he won the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence. He has given talks and workshops on innovation to thousands of executives from companies in countries around the world.
Chief Credit Officer
Nelly Akoth has twenty years of experience with IBM in a number of key positions across the United States, Singapore, South Africa and Kenya. Her responsibilities included financial analysis in different areas of the IBM services business, leading to her role as Chief Credit Officer for IBM. Ms. Akoth holds a BA in Computer Science from St. Thomas University in Miami, FL, and an MBA with a Finance Concentration from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
